Serpent

Tap left to turn left, right to turn right — relative to where the snake is heading. Eat, grow, don't crash.

Serpent — One-Thumb Snake Game

Serpent is classic Snake rebuilt for one thumb: instead of four directions you only ever choose left or right, relative to the way your snake is already heading. Every pellet makes you longer and a little faster, pulsing bonus pellets vanish if you dawdle, and once you are scoring, short walls start sprouting across the board. It is endless — crash into a wall, a block or your own tail and the run is over.

How to play

  1. Tap PLAY — the snake waits at the bottom facing up, and your first tap both sets it off and makes its first turn.
  2. Tap the LEFT half of the board to turn 90° left of your current heading; tap the RIGHT half to turn 90° right. On a keyboard use A/← and D/→.
  3. Eat the pink pellet for +1 score and +1 length. Every 5 pellets the snake speeds up.
  4. Every 7 pellets a golden bonus appears and fades over about six seconds — grab it for +3.
  5. From score 15, short wall blocks spawn every 10 pellets. The edge of the board is solid too.
  6. Hitting a wall, a block or your own body ends the run. Quick double-taps queue two turns for tight U-turns.
